Camping in South Wales

Everyone seems to head to Cornwall these days but Wales has everything Cornwall has and more……Welsh creamy ice-cream, TICK, desserted sandy beaches, TICK, slow pace of life, not much traffic, TICK, surfing, TICK…..it really is a fantastic place with something for everyone.

We stuck to mostly South Wales this trip and took this monster with us! Thank you Abacus for the motorhome hire, it was immaculate and looked after us really well during out trip to the Gower, Pembrokeshire and the Brecon Beacons.

If you asked me which place was my favourite I would find it very hard to reply. Three Cliffs Bay on the Gower peninsular has a view that took my breath away, literally. With my deckchair and wine I was a very happy bunny. I absolutely LOVED Tenby, a pretty coastal town in Pembrokeshire with a beach to die for. My boat trip to see wild seals and puffins was pretty awesome! Lastly the Brecon Beacons, Gary’s favourite, felt like I had wafted into a garden of Eden, green rolling hills as far as the eye could see and quaint country pubs.

Camping in Wales was just everything I hoped it would be …and more! Missing the Welsh Dragon already.
